A book review
Desert Flower
I want to say you something about my favourite book. And it is Desert Flower. This book I red in Slovak but in English too. For me it is the best book.It is an autobiography story of the Somalian girl Waris Dirie. It set in Somalia in Africa. The first edition was published in 1998. And in 2009 it was made into a film of the same name.Produced by Peter Herrmann and Benjamin Herrmann.
Book has since been released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, in France, Spain, Greece, most central and eastern European countries, in Japan and South Korea, in Israel, the Benelux states and Scandinavia.I like it because it´s moving and gripping story too. It´s a great book and I thoroughly recommend it.
Contents of the book:

From Mogadishu she run away to London.Where she worked as an charwoman in house her remote family. When her relatives returned to Somalia, Waris refused to return with them. She stayed in London, decided to work at McDonald's and she found girlfriend. She lived in London with her friend. In McDonald´s saw her photographer and he liked. He contacted her and he started to take a photo. Eventually she took up modeling. After a successful career as a model, she worked in campaigning with the UN against female circumcision. Waris Dirie's story is one of great determination to overcome the fear and make a better future for herself. It is a source of inspiration for young women.
